SUMMARY:East Coast Vanner Nationals 2026
DESCRIPTION:**COMPLETED 2026 ECVN FLYER & ACME MEETING UPDATE** So here is the updated flyer for this year and some of the changes/additions are on it including the color change but I wanted to do a little recap of the meeting we ALL had at ACME in April. We give everyone in attendance a voice in the decisions we make for the upcoming ECVN…it is actually the whole reason for the ACME Van Run.\n\n**”Club of the Year”: First off\, the coolest addition is the creation of this “Of The Year” Award to be determined along with Vanner & Van of the Year.\n\n** Osprey’s Pirate Dog Meat-N-Greet & “Little Van” Nats combining times: We decided to join these two things together starting the Meat-N-Greet at 1:30 & the set up for “Little Van” Nats starting at 2:00. This way you can still grab some grub while the set up is happening.\n\n*Best of Judges: Instead of randomly talking to Vanners about judging that week\, we will have an online sign up and a sign up sheet in person as well. This way I don’t have to ask and you don’t have to feel obligated because I did.\n\n**Chevy/GM Class Split: This is always an issue with there being way too many GMs in this class so we are splitting the class between Shorts & Longs. Simple fix\n\n**Auction & 50/50 benefactor: We all decided that the Museum of Vanning would be the best place for our raised money to go that would actually benefit “us” as the Vannin’ World. It was created for us and is 100% there because of us and we ALL need to make sure that it keeps existing and we are the only ones that can do this.\n\n**Big Screen & Projector: We announced that ECVN would be purchasing these items to give a little more Vanner presence throughout the week with cool Vanner movies or cool car movies in general playing on the stage while we are chillin’ by the fire every night. It would be playing with the volume off so we can still jam to music unless we actually wanna watch something. This was inspired by Jimmy who set his up last year.\n\n**Open Gate/Register Within 24 Hours: This is a simple one…since we have an open gate with no one attending it\, normally you would roll right up to HEADquarters an immediately register but sometimes people get there late. So we just ask that you get registered ASAP to get it out of the way…we should NOT have to come find you to get you registered.\n\n**Tape Line & Signs Removal: We are gonna have someone in place that will remove the yellow caution tape once not needed anymore. There is nothing I hate that taking a cool shot and that yellow tape is messing it all up\, especially at the Show-N-Shine. It’s a simple thing but will make me happy happy happy \n\n\n\nSpecial thanx to all who participated in this meeting at ACME\, of course all the Support Team members who help make all of this so much easier plus to all the Vanners who contribute their time and help judge. We hope to see you all at this year’s East Coast Vanner Nationals!!

DESCRIPTION:VANADU Drive-In is the premiere drive-in van cruise event\, and it’s an invitation for both classic and contemporary van owners and enthusiasts to bring their rigs out to America’s oldest drive-in for a night out under the stars! Whether you drive a classic boogie\, pile of rust\, wacky import\, or tricked-out overlander\, you’re welcome to come show off your setup and mingle with fellow vanners in this fun and famous annual event!\n\nAdmission is open and available to the public.  Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly encouraged.VAN Overnight Pass pre-registration is open to all vans regardless of year\, make\, or model.  No trailers or camping tents are permitted.NON-VAN Overnight Pass pre-registration is open to all year\, make\, and model cars that are not vans. No trailers or camping tents are permitted.\n\nGuests who purchase the Overnight Pass for their vehicle are welcome to stay and hang out on the drive-in lot after the scheduled features. We will have our theater-operated fire pit running (weather permitting). Overnight Passholders may stay until 12:00pm on Sunday\, Nov. 8th. Restroom facilities will remain open all night. We will be happy to provide resources for local campgrounds/hotels for those looking to stay elsewhere. Please review or our theater policies\, as they still apply for this event https://www.shankweilers.com/rules\n No fires or open flames not sanctioned by drive-in management.  Gates open at 4:00pm for Vans and 5:30pm for everybody else.Our movies will be announced closer to the event.This event is rain or shine.No refunds or transfers permitted on purchased tickets.
